(November 2025) CHEF organised in coordination with Heat Network Scotland a workshop hosted by Council Leader Jane Maegher at the City Chamber. The aim of the afternoon was to learn from:
- National Wealth Fund and new financial product developped for local authorities
- Scottish Futures Trust and a review of the delivery models available for local authorities to build heat network at scale
- Midlothian Energy Limited, a Joint Venture between Midlothian Council and Vattenfall Heat UK about their journey to build the new heat network in Shawfair.
