About CHEF

CHEF is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation No. SC051287.

Specifically:

a.    We bring together communities to explore low carbon heat and energy efficiency opportunities that cut greenhouse gas emissions.

b.   We run regular training and awareness raising events with partners to research and share knowledge about sustainable heating solutions.

c. We work to empower local people and community-based organisations to find appropriate low carbon heating solutions.

d. We meet with key stakeholders across the City Region to help them grow their knowledge of low carbon heat solutions.

Members elect Trustees to oversee the work of the charity while the day to day work is managed by a Core Team and separate working groups. 

We warmly invite anyone who supports our aims to join as a Member with voting rights or simply as a Supporter receiving our occasional eNewsletter.
